An electronic register for all those who produce, process, trade, store or import organicproducts will offer comprehensive monitoring of organic production in the country in accordance with EU regulations, the press center of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forests announced, reported Sofia News Agency Novinite.com.
The Commission published the results of a pan-European testing campaign of food products showing that some products are identically or similarly branded while having a different composition.
Having banned unfair trading practices and improved producer cooperation, the Commission is today presenting the third element to improve fairness in the food supply chain by introducing greater transparency in the way prices are reported throughout the chain.
